• Creating or managing a community directory (name, email address, billing details)
• Joining a community as a member (name, email address)
• Creating a business or professional listing (business name, phone, email, website, location, photos)
• Contacting us for support

We also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and analytics purposes.

• To provide and operate the Buscilia platform
• To process payments via Stripe (we do not store card details)
• To send transactional emails (account setup, listing approvals, payment receipts)
• To send optional weekly digest emails (you may opt out at any time)
• To respond to support enquiries
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share personal information only with the following service providers, each bound by their own privacy obligations:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting

Community administrators can see the name and email of members within their own community directory. Members cannot see other members' contact details beyond what is published in their listing.

Your data is stored on servers located in Australia or the United States (via our service providers). We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, your personal information is anonymised within your community. We may retain certain records for up to 7 years to comply with Australian tax and financial record-keeping obligations.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
